I’m back with another Pinterest inspired design.
Little confession: I recently did this for a guest post but didn’t love it. I’m currently re-working the piece. For now, I hate to waste a post, so I’m sharing with you! If you have a critique, I’m happy to hear your commentary.
This week I am loving the richness of this guest room. What makes this room great? Rich textures, warm colors and eclectic accessories. Key pieces are the pretty sunburst mirror, tall tufted bed, mirrored nightstands, horn lamps and Missoni inspired pillow. A little Pottery Barn, World’s Away, West Elm and Martha Stewart, Voila!
You’ll see the nightstands and bed are identical to our inspiration. The pillows are inspired, and the lamp for instance is a more subtle take on the antler table lamp in our Pinterest shot. I’m not a big fan of that lamp as it tends to lend itself to a rustic feel. This lamp from West Elm compliments the original in a more chic fashion. The leopard rug is also a little more toned down (and not your standard leopard look). To finish it off I layered artwork behind our lamps and accessories and found a similar sunburst mirror for the top of the bed.
Makes for a very pretty guest suite, don’t you think?
