My morning routine now consists of shower, then coffee and blogging.
I try to post mine by 7am mountain time, and then check my favorites over a Keurig delight.
My list of daily reads is pretty extensive, but if you need a few tips here and there, these are my go-to’s.
When planning a major trip overseas, stalk Aspiring Kennedy.
Lauren’s blog is easy to read and full of travel gold. She will give you great short-cuts and tips, along with extensive recommendations of restaurants and lodging.
My husband surprised me with five days in Paris last year (good job, right?) and my first order of business was an email to Aspiring Kennedy. Within a few hours we had dinner reservations, a day at Versailles booked and back door museum tips all ready to go. She now offers travel consultations via Skype starting at $35 for a 30 minute session.
Check here. You will have a perfectly planned trip and new friend by the end.
If you need a cute weekend outfit or easy dessert recipe, Helena of A Diary of Lovely is your girl.
Tim is not a dessert eater, except when Tiramisu is involved. Helena posted this recipe and I gave it a whirl.
It was so simple and now my favorite Tiramisu recipe. I’ve tried several, and this was so fluffy and flavorful., not to mention Mr. “I don’t eat dessert” loved it. Win.
I also got these adorable earrings from one of her outfit posts. Add Helena to your read list and hide your debit card.
Finally, my art collection has grown extensively. If you haven’t checked out Stephanie Creekmur, Made By Girl, Michelle Han and Gray Malin, well, you’re missing out. Gray Malin currently has a holiday sale going with prints starting at $99. That is a steal. Run, don’t walk.
